| In order to complete a trade in the SLHL, a process needs to be followed.
1. You must come to an agreement with another GM. 2. You then must post your deal here. 3. The other GM must then accept the deal.
All deals must be accepted by both parties within four hours of its posting, else the deal will be removed from the transactions page. The only exception will be when one GM contacts the Commissioner to let him know that the other GM will be accepting as soon as they are able to (12 hours max).
At no time should a GM post an offer that has not been agreed to by another GM. The transactions page is not a place to make 'offers'.
All deals are subject to a 24hr review period. During this time, the trade is open to being challenged. All challenged deals are sent to the Trade Committee for approval.
If a team is trading a player that is on his last year of his contract and has already been given a contract extension, the team trading the player MUST also include the Signing Bonus money that was offered to the player in the deal. The only exception is if the team acquiring the player chooses to accept the contract and is willing to pay the Signing Bonus. Please note that if the money is not included in the deal, it will be assumed that the team acquiring the player is willing to fork out the money for the contract.
Contracts will NOT be nullified by the league so that the team acquiring said player can have the contract redone by his new team. All this can be typed into the Future Consideration box when posting a trade on the main site. | |
